RV Sales Consultant

Chesaco RV is seeking a highly motivated and experienced RV Sales Consultants to join our team at all locations. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the RV or automotive industry. This has a starting base salary of $40,000.00 per year plus commission. As an RV Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers in finding the perfect RV to meet their needs.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to customer requirements and offering suitable RV options.
Develop a deep understanding of the RV models available for sale, including features, specifications, and pricing.
Guide customers through the sales process, from initial contact to finalizing the sale, including test drives, financing options, and warranty information.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and positive referrals.
Actively seek out potential customers through various channels, such as referrals, online inquiries, and events.
Follow up with prospective customers to address any questions or concerns, and keep them informed about new arrivals or promotions.
Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the dealership.
Complete necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner, including sales contracts, financing applications, and trade-in evaluations.
Work closely with other team members, including finance managers and service advisors, to ensure a seamless buying experience for customers.
Stay up to date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the RV or automotive industry.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Knowledge and passion for the RV lifestyle and industry.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Proficient computer skills and ability to learn and navigate dealership software systems.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

RV Handyman

Chesaco RV is seeking a skilled and motivated Handymen to join our team and work on RVs alongside our technicians at all locations. This position requires experience in electrical work, plumbing, and cabinet installation. While previous experience in RV service is not required, we are willing to provide training for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Assist technicians in performing repairs, installations, and maintenance on RVs.
Handle electrical tasks such as wiring, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Conduct plumbing work including pipe fittings, repairs, and system installations.
Install, repair, and modify cabinets, countertops, and other interior components.
Perform general handyman duties, including painting, carpentry, and small repairs.
Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with RV systems and components.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Collaborate with other team members and communicate effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
Follow instructions from senior technicians and supervisors to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

Previous experience as a handyman, working with electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, and cabinetry.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints.
Proficient in using common hand and power tools.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in workmanship.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
Adaptability and willingness to learn new RV systems and techniques.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience or familiarity with RV systems and components.
Trade school or vocational training in electrical work, plumbing, or carpentry.
